June 20, 21, 22, & 27, 28, 29 @8pm June 23rd @4pm June 26th @ 2pm and 7pm In the latest gem from Lakewood favorite Ken Ludwig, he "demonstrates the theatrical equivalent of perfect pitch." This murderously funny script won the 2012 Mystery Writers of America Edgar Allen Poe Award for Best Play. It is December 1936 and Broadway star William Gillette, admired the world over for his leading role in the play Sherlock Holmes, has invited his fellow cast-members to his mousetrap of a manor in Connecticut for a weekend of revelry. When one of the guests is stabbed to death, the festivities in this isolated house of tricks and mirrors quickly turn dangerous. Eggnog and clever repartee are replaced by seance, murder, and mayhem. Gillette assumes the persona of his beloved Holmes to track down the killer before the next victim appears. And suspects abound: could it be the critic, the diva, the ingenue, her new husband, one of the famous couple, the mother... The danger and hilarity are non-stop in this glittering whodunit set during the Christmas holidays. Give yourself the gift of laughter with this one!

Only American expertise could have created such a musical as this: a story about a Trade Union dispute set against a background of factory machines, played by factory hands, office workers, and shop stewards. Yet it is one of the happiest, most romantic and richly comical musicals ever crafted. The Tony Award winning musical Pajama Game opened on Broadway in 1954. It was reprised in 1973 and 2006. It is one of very few musicals to run for more than one thousand performances. Bright and brassy, this fast-paced Broadway favorite explores the dangers of a workplace romance. Conditions at the Sleep-Tite Pajama Factory are anything but peaceful, as sparks fly between new superintendent Sid Sorokin and Babe Williams, leader of the union grievance committee. Their stormy relationship comes to a head when the workers strike for a whopping 7 1/2 cents pay increase, setting off not only a conflict between management and labor, but a battle of the sexes as well. An energetic score features popular standards including "Hey There," "Steam Heat" and "Hernando's Hideaway." But you can rest easy knowing that after a company picnic, cooked books, infidelities real and imagined, jealous fits, knife-throwing, and a reprise or two, peace and love will prevail. Nothing's quite the same as the Pajama Game....

High Water Release - Kennebec River (8000cfs) The Kennebec River Gorge is one of the most beautiful in the East with steep rock walls covered with conifers on both sides, and with many waves that are four to six feet high. You'll paddle into rapids with names like Big Mama, White Washer, and the famous Magic Falls. Then, with the rapids behind you, jump in and float with the current while you feel the power of the river, taking you downstream. After your raft trip, enjoy a hearty meal of steak, chicken, fish or veggie burger, rice pilaf, cole slaw, roll, lemonade and our homemade berry cake, followed by a slide and video show of your trip. You'll relive the big hits of your trip! Four times each year the power company tests the turbines of Harris Station. The waterflow is wide open to 8,000 cfs-a truly special, thrilling ride almost twice the usual waterflow. These 2013 Kennebec High Water releases are scheduled for June 15, July 8, September 7 and September 21. We try our hardest to offer the highest quality river experience at the lowest possible prices available. Rates from $60-$110 per person (Minimum Age: 10 years.)

In-laws, Outlaws & Other People (That Should be Shot) offers a new perspective on an old tradition: the coming together of family for the holidays. It is 6:00 PM. Janet Douglas has missed her flight home so Dad Douglas and his sarcastic 16 year old daughter Beth are preparing to be invaded by their quirky relatives for their annual Christmas Eve dinner. High strung Tony and his dimwitted side-kick Vinny have robbed a neighborhood liquor store and need a place to hide out. Gaining entrance to the family home, Tony and Vinny attempt to hold the smart-aleck teenagers, bickering adults, and nosy neighbors hostage. With outrageous characters, laugh-a-minute-dialogue, and a surprise, heart-felt ending, In-Laws, Outlaws & Other People (That Should be Shot) is a comic treasure celebrating the true meaning of Christmas. Give yourself this present. Evening Shows: Thursday through Saturday at 8 pm Every other Sunday at 4 pm Matinees: Every other Wednesday at 2 pm & 7 pm*
