8th Annual Doug Dionne Scholarship Benefit Golf Outing in memory of Doug Dionne, Erik Crocker and gary Michael LeClair. Registration fees: $60.00 per person. Mulligans at $5.00 each and 6 foot strings at $5.00 each. Registration begins at 11:00 a.m. and tournament start is 1:00 p.m. There will be a vacation for two prize for Hole in One on hole #3. Tournament will be played in a four person best ball scamble format. Awards and buffet will follow the tournament at Ken's Celebration Center. Stop by Ken's Family Restaurant or Ken's Celebration Center to sign up.

Downtown Skowhegan streets will be blocked off for Bike Night. Come and enjoy a bike parade, live music, beer garden, vendors and much more. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Skowhegan Indian landmark.

Celebrate Skowhegan Parks & Recreation Day July is National Parks & Rec. Month At Lake George Regional Park (Canaan Side) Saturday, July 26 Join us for a day of fun, food and community spirit! There will be hamburgers & hotdogs on the grill, games to play, relays to run & contests for all ages to enjoy. Cost: $5.00 includes transportation, park pass, food & activities. Bus departs Community Center 8:45 am & returns 2:45 pm

Sixth Annual Harvest Days Gold Tournament at Lakewood Golf Course. Schedule: Men's, Women's or mixed 18-hole scramble. Registration fees: $60.00 per person. Please call the Chamber of Commerce at 207-474-3621 to register. Only 144 players will be accepted. Carts are not included in registration fees. Please call Lakewood Golf Course at 207-474-5955 to reserve a cart. All players will receive a lobster dinner following the tournament. The awards and prizes from the tournament will be handed out at the Lobster Bake, which will take place following the tournament behind the Chamber Office.
